I wish that we could deal direct with the manufactur in the US but to get any thing from your side of the pond I have to pay30% import which makes an item very costly

Thank you Rene. If you look at their front page, you won't see the word train on it, just "products" and "narrow gauge." That is why my search for "tenmille" and "trains" together came up short.

Now I owe you both! With this blizzard hitting us in NY tonight, I can stay at home and cruise this new-to-me website.

You are very lucky Rene. I would kill to be able to easily talk to Marc about questions like this! Please pass along my appreciation for his suggestion, and I will do just that. Smile [:)]

Also, I tried finding Tenmille's address and contact information online, but came up empty. Other places carry Tenmille products, but the company itself does not seem to have a webpage. Can anyone point me in the right direction for this too?

What can I say? Just a perk of the job! Laugh [(-D]

I found what appears to be a web site for them: http://www.tenmille.co.uk/

the email listed there is: tenmilleproducts@talk21.com

I hope this is what you're looking for. . .

Hi Scoobster,

I talked with Marc Horovitz, as he's quite knowledgeable about British locomotives. His suggestion was to contact the manufacturers directly and ask where you can buy their products in the US.

Importing British trains

I would like to pick up some passenger coach kits from British manufacturers like Brandbright and Tenmille, and wanted to know if any American companies imported and sold them here in the United States. The same with Roundhouse steam locomotives. I guess I could order direct from the manufacturer, but with shipping and stuff it makes is pretty steep. I doubt that an American importer could give US buyers much of a break, but I thought I would ask.

Thanks.
