I just checked out his website.  Wow!  Those are the best I've ever seen.  I'm tempted.

The unpainted ones are about $9.00.  Bachman figures are $7.00 now & NO comparison. True, you have to paint them, but that's the fun.

Too rich for my blood.
It is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me.

Richard's figures are true works of art.  I really like the look and feel captured in his figures.  Too bad 1:20.3 is a bit large for me as well.

What I'd love to see in the way of figures are Native Americans that are not your typical cowboys and indians.  But more from the ranching era of say the 1940s and 50s.  It's an aspect of the hobby in any scale that is often overlooked.  European looking figures in a Southwest themed layout doesn't look all that right to me.

I did get the private eye, the hat comes as a separate casting. Very delicate. Will probably order more. Jerry

Richard Kapuaala is a regular poster over at MLS. They look beautifully detailed. I especially like the Private Eye. Unfortunately, they are too big for me at 1:20.

Poe O Honua figures

I sent for 3 Poe O Honua figures as reviewed in GRR. No, not the R rated ones. They arrived in only a few days & are very finely done. I purchased them unpainted...couldn't see $130 for custom paint. There is a parting line on the back & very little flash that scrapes off very easily. I would recommend them.  Jerry
