What OS are you on, What IE or other browser are you using?

Win2k and the latest version of Firefox. Your posts are the only problems I have had with pics.

ok, guess I will have to open the photobucket as much as I hate to.

Another update mom did not want me to update the birdhouse so I gave it back to her.

Well I finally found your pics by going into this page's source code and finding the links. I also found this -

I think my problem has to do with cookies and your photobucket album being private. Then again Dave (FJ&G) can't ever see my pics either.

Now, I can't see the strummin' frog now.

Nice shacks, by the way, William.

Nice buildings!

For what it's worth I got some expensive 1:12 cedar shingles from a Doll House supplier.  I now call them shakes and overlap them to a half inch instead of the 3/4".  I did cut the ones for the roof peak down to 1:24 scale and then split them as well to get 8 shakes out of 1 of the 1:12 scale size "planks".  They look nice but cost too much.

Turns out cedar splits very well with an x-acto blade so I think I'll make mine out of fence pickets in the future.  Let's see $6.25 for a 6' 1x8 cedar board that I could cross cut into 140 or so 1/2" chunks for splitting into about 900 1/64" thick by 3/16" wide thick shakes each for a total of more than 63,000 little cedar shakes that the doll house sells for $31 for 1,300 sounds like a better deal if you have plenty of time that is.

Just kidding,

Rex

Mining Office is popcicle sticks, pre-screened for trueness, top is plastic w/sand paper. Note wanted a grunge (sp) grey stain but found none. Coated semi-gloss p (long word) for water.

Birdhouse which now I am going to modify. Boards just ain't right and the shakes either. To big, door to, mom wanded a red bird in back window, most all of this one will be rebuilt.

Wood from it came from mom & pop hardware store, they let me beg for stuff. Not real fancy stuff to me cedar and white pine.

Anyways I get my glass there too. Remember the machine at your place where they custom cut!!!! They have a throw away pale! Just ask.

That is the worst place you can let me loose in!

TF:

That's a pretty fine-lookin' building. Where'd you come onto all that high-class wood?

Keep up the good work 'n keep up the good postin's.
