Thanks the wheel cleaning helped and so did adding screws to the track connectors.

The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.

Thanks I will try cleaning the wheel treads, I lubed the back side. this engine has only been run once before on brass track. I well post the results when I run it next weekend.

When was the last time you cleaned the wheels? I have to clean mine pretty regularly. A bit of CRC2-26 (or WD-40 if you have to) on a Q tip will do the trick.

My C-16 has problem ( intermiten ) when power is applied it act's dead, when i tap the tender it starts going. any cheap soliutions to this problem? Wheels, pickups and engin lubed .
