I am not sure about the engine,

But 40' cars will navigate the 5' Dia curves well.  I have a few bachmann big hauler cars that I believe are 40' or less and they will negotiate a 4'Dia curve too.

I suggest you call http://www.rldhobbies.com/

Curve requirement question 2
Posted by 3railguy on Friday, August 31, 2007 6:49 AM

Can anyone tell me if a USA Trains S2 switcher will work on 5 ft dia curves? I assume the Ro S2 is a good loco. Am I right? I am looking to put an oval of G scale track around our flower bed. This is about as large of curve dia I can go. I'm also looking to use box cars and tank cars in the train so I am wondering if there is some variety that works well on 5 ft curves. Or are there any websites with this kind of info? I googled Charlie Ro and bought an issue of Garden Railways but the ads don't list min dia very well.
