Quick Google search shows lots out there.

Here's one:

Now, question.

This looks like the old standard everyday ex-LGB metal wheelsets.

Have you ever put a magnet up to them?

I have some here, saved, that are heavily used, and they are brass under the plating.

This is not to say they have now been made in steel, but I would not think so, rusting outdoors being one issue.

LGB 67419 steel wheel equivalent?
Posted by dan green on Thursday, August 30, 2007 9:20 PM

It seems to be getting harder and harder to find LGB 67419 solid steel wheel sets anymore... does anyone know of an alternative thats an exact fit so they could be used on the same truck? I had problems with one brand that was fractionally narrower.

I need to fit out about 10 cars.

With Thanks

Dan
