Garden Railway Magazine products.

Why doesn't Garden Railways Mag have their own sweatshirt or T-shirt for sale. I have one from the Granville Island Train & Boat Museum and find that it is a great conversation starter. People by and large are shy, having a sweatshirt that displays your unique hobby would be a real bonus. Any thoughts on this?

Next time you're at a show, or see some certain catalogs, get one or two of those "I Grow Trains in my Garden" shirts; that'll work!

I'd buy a GR shirt.

Hi guys,

A number of years ago, Kalmbach offered logo clothing for many of its magazines, but we've since cut back because of lack of sales. Some magazines, such as the beading titles, still offer clothing and other logo products because there is such a demand.

Right now, the only way you can get GR logo clothing is if you're a staff member. Sorry.

STAFF?????????

Define staff.

what about contributers???????

I'd buy a couple of T shirts. Besides. it could be something that can be taken to shows and help cover your show cost.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

STAFF? Why not make it available to those interested in the hobby? I am proud of my hobby and the accomplishments made. Am I missing something, but do you also give these to people in marketing, sales promotion, and advertising? Hmmmm.

I often wonder, how many of the staff, after leaving GRYs mag would stay involved in the hobby.?

I don't know Marty, if you want a job with a company it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to use their product. To them it is just that, a job.
