Aristo Craft RS-3 GR issue?
Posted by Benjamin Maggi on Monday, July 23, 2007 1:38 PM

Just bought a new-old stock Burlington Northern RS3 and was wondering if anyone knew what issue of Garden Railways contained the review of it. I tried using both the search and index functions of the website but nothing came up. Possibly in 1998. My back-issues don't go that far back, but I want to buy the one that contained the review.

Thanks.

Scoobster,

That was reviewed in the October 1997 issue.

I have 5 of the R S -3'S  in different rail road names , they are a good engine and i have a U25B , AND 4 LITTLE CRITTERS , AND A FA-1 . AND 2 USA SWITCHERS. BUT I LIKE THE rs-3's .

I'm thinking about buying another RS-3 not sure of the road name yet ,i have 2 of them since i started in garden rail roading in 1999, and they are still running.   ben

Thanks Benny. My name is Ben too. I am sure that they are great engines... it is just that I have a binder that I keep all of my instruction sheets, diagrams, manuals, etc. in, and I also try to have photocopies of all reviews by the trade magazines of all of the equipment I own. I just bought the magazine, though, so soon I can add it to my "file."
