I use weed block under my track, ballast is blue stone dust, which is used under stepping stones for leveling purposes, and the stone dust is ground blue stone with the very small blue stone chips and the dust which interlock the ties to the ballast. Concening switches keep away from the moving switch points. <br /> <br />mikadousrp
