I sent them an email explaining the problem of the missing cover and without asking anything for shipping or parts replacement, they sent me the missing cover and screws!!! I am very pleasantly surprised!!

Hey Vic,

Good one!

Did you know that too much "Red Koolaid" leads to "Pink eye" and can only be corrected by wearing rose-coloured glasses??[}:)][}:)][:D][:D]

The rose-coloured glasses have a "perception-correction" which results in even the most grotesque LGB scale warping looking perfectly normal!
Of course it could also be that there's a "secret ingredient" in the "Red Koolaid" with similar results of distorted vision. [}:)][;)][}:)][:)][:D]

Ohh BTW, LGBoA comes through with spare parts, most often even free of charge.

LGB is just fine by me, (sorry, poetic licence) just stand back and squint. And stop eating those cactus tops with the non steam powered Kool-Aid.[:o)]

Blue,
You might want to call LGB's service department in San Diego. I would suggest finding out when your track cleaning loco was received and get an estimate on it's disposition. 800-669-0607 and press "1"

How do you contact them? I have been duped into buying two sets of signals without the bases. They are useless without these, i wonder if I can get a couple from them.

i am going to visit their factory in Nuremburg on 11 July it might be a good subject to bring up huh?
