Matt; LGB have both European and American marker lamps and i think they will run on nearly any electrical power you like. I am hoping to get an Alpine Baggae car and illuminate it both inside and out with these light. You can also get a kit which allows you to pick up power from the rail via the wheels or from a powered device such as a loco or a lighted carriage. I use my post office van for power supply for my little fun train. Regards Ian
