In your pic, what is that material you are using for ballast? <br /> <br />I used something that looked similar that was a mixutre of carcoal (left over from the BBQ and ground to a fine powder, ordinary HO ballast (coarse), Spectricide (to kill fire ants...would be hobos) and paver sand. <br /> <br />I find that mixture looks "fluffy" but eventually settles and holds the track in place like a would-be cement. <br /> <br />Major Carrales
