Hi
Well having not seen the artical yet.
My railway will never win a photo contest I dont care iether I enjoy it,
and I don't care if some one runs those caracterless noisy boxes.
or a proper locomotive steam.
There is only one question that needs answering do you enjoy your favorite aspect of garden railways yes or no??
and the answer had better be yes or your in the wrong hobby.
We cannot all be contest winners and those that can good luck to them
but thats not realy what the hobby is about and there will always be a case of sour grapes no matter who wins.
One thing these contests do is give people like me something to aspire too
well Ive been at it Railway modeling in some form or other 40 years now
and I still haven't got there but something must have improved over the years
regards John

Malboro,
I like your outlook on the hobby. We all need to keep growing and learning. This is a great place to do it too. Gonn'a send in some photos myself this year and see how I do. No big deal if I don't win. Just want to give the judges more tp pick from! Later eh...Brian.
