The head is gray, hands don't work , back is weak, legs give out, eyes are gone, money go's and my wife still love's Me.
We've featured a number of diesel railroads in the past:
June 2010
December 2010
October 2009
October 2008 for starters
Also, we will have a 1970s themed indoor large scale layout in the April issue. It's fantastic.

How about preview since it's not avaliable.
define modern?
Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?
Long live Outdoor Model Railroading.
Thanks Rene, I ordered Dec 2009, April 2006, and Oct 2008 and got them a couple days later. The Snake River Railroad is pretty awesome and I will be reading that one over and over.
I am operation minded as well as prototypical minded. I am looking to model the Milwaukee Road in Lynden, WA in the 70's as prototypical as I can and plan on a lot of switching work.
Michael
Marty,
Modern to me is the 70's up to now. Nothing against steam engines but I am not really into anything earlier than the 50's which seems to be most of what is in the magazine. I wanted to find back issues but specific ones covering the time period of 70's and on. I am also not interested in spaghetti type layouts.
Would love to see more video's of your operation as it is pretty impressive but I think I have watched all of them.
what??? just kidding.
Is this the Mike from CA I talked to on the phone? I have a new DVD made by a friend for ya.
