convert 44 tonner to batt power
Posted by Capt Bob Johnson on Saturday, January 26, 2008 3:52 PM

I'm preparing to convert a USAT GE 44Tonner to battery power using Aristo TE and LI-on batteries in trailing car.  I'm thinking about putting in a DPDT switch so it could run either track or Batt.

Has anybody done this?  Any helpful hints? I figured I'd ask and save headaches!

Thanks, it is indeed informative.  Adds to my knowledge!  Gaining input from various sources before picking up the scalpel!
