Very nice !! I sure like it, reminds me of my childhood !! You got right on to posting pictures & that goes along good with a train layout !!
Thanks, John
Your pictures look great to me. AND, you have a darn nice layout.
Good Job.
Chuck
Thanks for your reply's! My layout is in the basement, and is lighted by two 60 watt bulbs, so pictures aren't so great. My original intent was for a postwar layout with realistic scenery, and to "blend into the room" well. I'm going to try and post more pictures from different angles with better lighting. In the mean time, I'm considering dismantling this layout and going with an around-the-room layout, and going to a more "scale" theme. I'm looking into going the Colorado Springs/Cripple Creek region, and have allready begun scratch-building structures and searching for more scale-like cars for re-lettering. Not sure, though...
I have limited space, but am considering building a new layout, as mentioned above, and a smaller layout in the postwar style. I really enjoy the new products coming out, but am not quite ready to let go of the postwar/mpc era. In the meantime, I'm going to try and contribute to the forum, and hopefully now with pictures.
