I saw one at Lowe's today..  The engine looks a bit small to be the real tooling.

Wasn't planning on buying. More or less curious as to it was made from oo guage tooling.

The lamp looks like it is a Lionel licensed item made by another company in China or nearby area overseas.  The ebay price is too high to justify buying it on ebay, then you have to pay shipping also!

Could buy it at Lowes for less than on ebay and save money!!!

My bride bought me one at JC Penny.  She tells me it was about $55.00.  I like mine.

Most Lowe's stores have them. I think they're closer to $50, though, but could be mistaken.

Seen these before and they have pretty high quality detail. Wonder though if they used the old oo guage tooling for this. Did Lionel make this or is it a licenced product made by another company? For a lamp though it does look pretty involved.

I am not the seller by the way.
