Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, June 7, 2007 12:55 PM

well most of you know i got the tmh set and something is wromg with it. i dont want it enough to spend over 100 to fix it. so my question is should i sell it off individually or as a set in the box?

btw i got an email from davis trains saying that it is either  a bad smoke unit or the board!

zeke,
When you have it open, can you tell which two wires run to the smoke unit?  If so, cut them so you have enough slack to reconnect them if you need to... then put the engine and tender on the track with the teather connected... see what happens... if the smoke unit is bad then you should get some response from the engine... if not then the board is bad...

You can post pics on ebay of what you have done... if you are going to sell it... let me know...

Then definitely the board... if you don't want the set I would be willing to take it off your hands...
