My brother inlaw is in need of cash, he is going to sell his trains (Postwar) to get it. What I would like to do is buy them from him, but we need a fair price on them to be set by a 3rd party. This is the fariest way I no to do it. So if anyone knows of a train apraiser in central pa please contact me.
Thank you
Chad
You can go to ebay under model trains and look at what some of the trains are selling for to get a realistic look at current prices. In the past I have used Greenberg's Pocket price guide but nobody wants to pay book price for stuff down here in Florida.
Another place to try is www.choochooauctions.com as they deal mainly with model trains and related stuff like Plasticville.
