Lionel Collectors Club (UK) show 2007 pics
Posted by Nick12DMC on Sunday, June 3, 2007 3:32 PM

Hi all,

Here are some pics taken at this weekends show held at Ilkley, Yorkshire, England.

Ken another club member very nicely let me run his new Lionel Lionmaster Cab forward. This is a lovely loco. The CTT review mentions that your bridges need to be up to the task. I agree it weighs a ton! Railsounds 5 is very nice.

Here is a Lionel Challenger, it was unusable in the UK due to 50Hz issues. Here it is seen running flawlessly with TMCC on 60Hz inverter power. Whistle sounds fantastic.

My layout at the show. Fastrack has really generated a lot of intrest over here. I understand the UK dealer has even relayed their show room layout in Fastrack.

Some views of Ilkley

Hope you enjoyed these

Thanks for the show & tell, Nick.  It was also nice to see your faces on the Coffee Pot.

Great Pics Nick!!

Thanks for sharing them.

What's that structure in the tenth photo (down)? Covered Bridge or Engine House?

Nice photos!

Looks like you have a nice close siding in the last photo...Is that a 72" switch?

Thanks Nick! Looks like fun. Maybe we can get you over here for a York (York Pennsylvania that is) meet someday?

Excellent pictures!  It must have been a great show.  I especially like the layout in the first photo.
