A couple of other plastic parts that were reproduced in metal:

Platform for #69 maintenance car

turret roof section for #52 fire car (original was not a seperate casting, but often broken off)

Repro air tanks were made in diecast many years ago. That's what you must have.

  Has anyone ever heard of the 614 Alaskan switcher with a diecast ventilation attachment? I always wondered about this as my grandfather had one and I know they are usually plastic.
