Marx #6000 freight set
Posted by Boonter on Friday, May 25, 2007 6:22 PM

A local antique shop has a Marx #6000 streamliner type double engine, freight cars, caboose and transformer.  It is presented as "tested".  I am unfamilure with this one and my Marx value guide doesn't seem to show it.

About what vintage is this set.  It appears to be UNUSED or VERY well cared for.  Any opinion on value would be interesting.

Great forum guys!  Fine learning tool for the oldest known Newby around.

Cheers & Talleyho !
