GREAT HI-RAIL LAYOUTS

These are some nice layouts. Are there any websites about the Hi-Rail railroads that were featured in Classic Toy Trains from their first few years of publication? It'd be neat to see updates on those layouts.

I have been to northlandz twice so far, but it's been a few years since my last visit.  I know they are always inproving the layout and would like to see it sometime soon...

if you are in the NJ area you must see this layout. it is 8 miles of HO track, thats correct 8 miles. it is set up in a large warehouse that you walk through and up 3 floors. some of the mountains are 35 feet high and bridges 40 feet long. you can go to this link to view pics but you have to see it in person to see all the intricate detain in every scene you walk by. after that they have a 3/4 scale steam train ride around the acres of property surrounding the building.

OGR sells some great videos on layout. They even has a series on layouts that you can visit.

I hear everyone talk about Tony Lash's 2800 square foot layout, but are there other layouts that anyone knows about at that level of quality.  If so where can I find info on them (Video, Websites, Books, etc)?  I have "Great Toy Train Layouts Of North America" but those layouts are from 15 years ago and would like see how people use todays technology/ products to create a great hirail layout.
