Lou, my books only indicate that the 219 ALCo AA was an uncataloged item made in 1959, and that it was made for a set and therefore had no separate boxes.

IIRC, there was a book that reproduced Sears (and other?) catalog pages showing train sets.  Perhaps one of this forum's members has a copy and can provide more info.

P.S.  Found it - "The Toy Train Department" - available here - http://store.railpress.com/1054.html , or at Amazon.

I think that might be an old lionel set from the late 50s

To all-I have got what appears to be a set that Sears sold. There is no set box but it consists of 2 219 Alcos,a red Airex box,6175 missle car,6801 boat car and a brown 6017 caboose. It has the small transformer,a black trestle set, crossover track and manual uncoupler ramp.Any thoughts? Thanks,Lou
