Really appreciate the input guys, "bazonkers", that was my concern exactly! I looked at it yesterday pm and thought exactly the same thing a single larger image between the brackets. Then thought maybe alternate between the heralds and larger image. I've seen some pretty good black and white images of steam enginesthat might be just the thing. So more experimenting.

Nice engine Alex, I picked one up from Eastern Depot at York in CNJ livery. Been looking for some CNJ coaches, but no luck yet. CNJ used them as commuter power.

I always liked these. At least there was some sort of effort at the old "cab unit" look. With 3000 hp under the hood and a top speed of over 100mph they were quite capable locomotives. A single unit F40PH handling an average train by itself was a common sight.

amazing ....i really like the amtrak stuff.. they will definatly make an apperance on my layout....down the road sometime...very nice...the detail is very cool...

1. Finished the upper shelf, train runs, with Camera, Smoke, & Sound. Trying to decide if the heralds are too busy or do they add to the look. (Adds some color, over overcrowds?)

Fife : no I really don't know the lineage of that Geep, other than it was sold to that Newburgh & Southshore RR . It got set out at our shop for a bad wheel but then we Ok'd it to go. It is in real good shape though !
