2 more ouces & you'll have a pound !! I would try a few less ozs. & go from there. Add more till you get where you want it or it works real good. With 2 motors it may be ok, Let us know & see if the motors get too hot or anything !!

A while ago there was some discussion about putting some weight in a loco to help with traction. I have a Lionel RS3 with 2 motors and no traction tires. I had em removed so the metal wheels would activate the non-derailing switch feature better. Now I put a weight in the front & back of the engine, maybe 12-14 oz. total. Is this too much? or OK?
