Oscar Mayer hotdog car 1/48 scale?

Here is a link to a 1/64 version of the Weinermobile.  The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan has the full size version on display.  I have not seen one in 1/48th size.

Thanks for that web-site DSmith !! I found after you click on there, then click on the Henry Ford site & look for Toys & click on that & you'll get the Weinermobiles !!  Only 3.95 for a 1/64th. model. They have a whistle also & then a much bigger one !

Here is mine & I really don't know what scale it is, maybe 1/64 or smaller. but it seems to work ok here !!  It says on the bottom "Oscar Mayer 1993 " & made in Thailand. I can't seem to find any other ones bigger either !!

WOW...If anybody knows a source for those, let me know. I have always wanted to go for a ride in one. Entered a contest once, for a ride in Weinermobile. Then, I found out, it was for only up to 8 years old. I was 55. Oh, well.

John - Thanks for posting that picture. The Hotwheels size may be ok as a golf cart size diplay in a park. I have seen these with little kids driving what must be a go kart. Maybe I could find the right size hot dog in a craft store and kitbash one from an older diecast car.  I don't think the one I remember from the 50's, 60's had such large windows.

Chuck - I did get a ride in the original. My scout troop took over the town for a day, and I was the Mayor. (wanted to be police chief, and ride in the police car) I met the Oscar Mayer Chef who gave me an official Weinermobile whistle. I rode in the hotdog until I found out the mayor was in charge of the police chief. Then I got my ride in the 66 Pontiac Interceptor.

The ones she was selling was 1/24 cars on an O gauge flat car. Way oversize for O gauge.

 With all my looking, I have not found one in O gauge (1/43 thru 1/50) scale. If someone does find one, please let me know.

I can't remember the Weinermobile scales, but she sold train cars in N, HO and O.  She might be at the show next Saturday in Columbus.

Maybe she goes to York.
