David's books are treasures. I know he has his critics here, but I find his books to be enjoyable and informative. And David is quite an approachable guy.  I'll be sure to pick up this latest one.

The USPS left a pleasant surprise on my step today from Amazon. It is the Stand Catalog of Lionel Train Sets. I was totally taken off guard since it was not going to ship until April 19th. I gave it a quick glance through (doing yard work since it is in the upper 70's) and it is the same quality of his other books. Sharp pictures, catalog art for each year, prices and pictures of many high end sets and their boxes, all in awesome shape. I preordered this through Amazon for only $19.95 if anyone is interested in ordering.
