do i run a wire from the SC-2 to the track i understand the instruction
I'm not sure about the question
ASC's use a daisy chained command wire that is connected back to the command base. SC-2's pick up signals from the outside rails of the track like a locomotive would.
There are three ways to power an SC-2 and I prefer a direct connection from an AUX power supply. I would recommend not using track power and I am not a big fan of the seperate wall wart transformer. I've wired up several SC-2's and not had problems when I used a dedicated auxiliary power supply.
The SC-2 needs no external wiring for CAB-1 signal.
I run mine in a 4 switch / 2 accessory configuration. I power all my Atlas switches with a seperate 16V bus. The switch connected to the first terminal block powers the SC2. Works well with Atlas switches - completely troublefree.
