I recommend that you post this question on the Model Railroader forum, where the HO guys hang out.  Folks here are mostly into S and O toy trains.

My dad recently bought a  used locomotive at the lhs and i was wondering what brand it is. I can't find a picture of it so I will describe it: it has a blue and yellow paint job, the road name is santa fe, it has six axles, it has 12 wheel drive, the middle wheels do not pick up, it has flexible plastic hand rails around it, it is nicely detailed especially the trucks, it can pull 19 cars no problem most of them with metal wheels, weighs about a pound give or take a few ounces, it is ho scale, and the guy at the hobby shop said it could have been an older life like because of the trucks.

Remember the only stupid question is the one that isn't asked! Quote from Bill54
