Greenberg's 2004 guide says the 6-8-6 Steamer w/671W Tender would be about $115 in good condition and $215 in Exc cond.

No, they hard not hard to find. All turbines were popular, moderately priced and are common. The only turbine that could be considered "rare" or "desireable" are the 671 with 2671W tender and back-up lights or the 682 w/ white stripe and oil linkage.

My estimate w/o seeing it would be $100 to $135.

Price???  $50 to $300, maybe, condition and rarity counts.

So much to look at! Does it have 8 or 12 wheels, are there any cracks, does it have all the steps, is its lettering clear and bright, is it lettered "Lionel Lines" or "Pennsylvania", does it have "backup lights", any rust, is the tender top Original or a replacement?

I bought a 2671 tender a few years ago on ebay and paid 150 or so but it was the desirable 12 wheel Pennsy tender. I would think yours in excellent shape could get 100 dollars or so. Do some homework on the bay. Tenders are listed a lot on ebay. Not as many as loco/tender combos but more and more sellers are breaking these pairs up trying to make a bigger buck.
