ALEX,
My dog JANE comes down to check out the trains alot, usually kicks me off the couch and if I put down my beer ends up drinking it. Here she is waiting for the Easter Bunny a few years back( my wifes idea with the ears).

Which brings the question of......
What's the difference between a rock and a pet rock?
Give up?
A pet rock is one that has been captured.
HA HA HA!!!
Not a pet, but a mouse had taken up residence in my town, trains are in an out building. After having an engine chase him out of the tunnel I put out some mouse bait, haven't seen him/her since.
stubbsO wrote:When I was a kid, we set the train up around the tree. The dog saw it running at thought it be cool to chase and bark at it like a car. That got old for him, then just sniffin around the track, got a good buzzz on the nose from the center rail. Didn't really like trains after that.
My dog did something like that on a floor layout but he licked the third rail!
When I was around 12 I had a parrot named Peach, Peach would ride on the flat car of my lionels, I always wished I had taken a photo.

I would of loved to see that
Alex We had a cat when I was little when I got my first train set (Marx Big Rail). She was fascinated by it. Sometimes she would go over by the box (I didn't have a layout) and paw at it and then look at me as if to ask "Aren't you going to play with it???" Later we got a dog and he just liked to lay down by the tracks and watch it go round and round.
