I could be wrong....but I don't think he is asking for help for himself. I read his message one of two ways. 1. He's advertising the other forum site he has in his signature line and asking members to go their with their issues. Or more likely 2. He's volunteering his services for anyone who is having issues and needs help. However, this forum and it's members would better benefit from any member starting his/her own thread and including all the specific information related to their issue versus everyone just using this one thread.

There are many brands of model trains and a few time periods to be concerned about. First off what year are you talking about, second what type of locomotive; diesel, electric, or steam, third who makes the model?
The motors have changed over the years, example 1947 motor has serviceable brushes in it and today's motors are enclosed can motors with no parts serviceable. Also there is two rail O gauge and three rail O gauge. Another concern is the type of coupler; pin & hook or knuckle coupler.
Olsen's and Greenberg's have service manuals printed or online, don't know the websites.
If you are really lost just post a question on the forum here and you should be able to get some help. Must keep the question specific to one problem not a general question.

Not sure what your asking, but if you have a specific question, please ask it. There are many very knowledgable train people here that are willing to help you.
