help for 238 steamer

picked up a clean shell of a lionel 238e steamer. can anyone tell what type of motor would fit into it?.... and if so from what engine.

You might watch Ebay for a while. There is a 238 with a 2225 tender going now for $56 (auction #3156972839). You probably don't want this one, since it is missing a lot of parts; but one with a good motor and a bad shell might show up eventually--I completed a 253 that way.

You know what "e" means and to watch out for bad zinc, don't you?

thanks for the info, i know about the one running on ebay right now. I have alot of steamers and was thinking of swapping one from another engine into it.
