movie theatre

I noticed that MTH has a moview theatre, but it's not the old fashion square look.  Does Lionel, or anyone else make what I call the old box style movie theatre for the layout?

Thanks, Rob

Have you ruled out the Palace Theater offered by Walthers?  It's pricey at about $130 retail, but it's way cool because of the animated marquee, which Walthers' website shows in operation:

The theater has a footprint of 7-3/8 x 12-3/4 x 9-3/8".  Walthers says it's on backorder but I do see it at various train shows.  That's where I got mine and I'm really happy with it.  It's the centerpiece of my model town, especially when the marquee is lit.

Regards,

Joel

That does look nice!  Now if I can figure out a way to change the name to UPTOWN.  I'm trying to duplicate downtown where I grew up.

Thanks for the heads up.
