I would appreciate any comments, positive or otherwise regarding this track item, based on your operating experience.  Is the functionality better than achieving the same result using 4 matched turnouts?  The space saved using the 175 does not seem to be substnatial.

I've had mine for a couple of years now and am extremly satisfied with it.  When you figure using 4 standard turnouts w/o a cross the length is longer, if you add a cross to compress the length the track spacing increase, unless you do a bit of cutting.  I've had no problem running trains through the dbl. cross at speed.  With an engine with close, or a single, pick-up rollers, creeping along. there is a possibility of loosing power crossing the diamond.
