K-Line Quarters

I have a very small collection of in the box unused K-line quarters.

Does anyone know how many were made prior to 2007, and if so what states?

Is there an engine or disel made for the set?

George, while I don't have an exact count, approximatly 30-35 were made. I know that Texas was one of the last made, and Kline made them in the same sequence as the US Mint did. Lionel will be continueing the series, and has cataloged 2 or 3 new cars in the latest catalog.

There was no engine made, but I think there was a caboose made--

Finally got one of the South Dakota quarters yesterday Laz---it fills out Year 2006 in my wife's collection of all the States in their order of joining the Union. Neat design with the pheasant flying over the sculptures of the four Presidents on the mountain face.

   That is still one of my dream hunts, to go to SD and hunt pheasants out there.  Population o people is about 900,000 and phesants is 11,000,000.  Not bad odds maybe I can get one or two?
