#1, the work caboose looks better than the way-too-small SP type. As for the crane, just lower the hook in between the toolboxes of the caboose; it really helps in keeping the boom from swinging all around (a minor annoyance anyway, I think)

Work cranes are a pain to pull around a layout. I know, I've had a 6460 since 1953 or so and it usually ends up sitting on a siding or shelf.

I'm partial to the postwar automobile carriers. I also like the State of Maine BAR boxcar, so I'll balance out the voting with number 2. Here's a pic with some auto carriers on my layout:

I would go with option #1, I've never been too fond of the barrel unloading cars, they're a bit too long and sit too high for me. Just my opinion.

I have this engine sitting in a box and it gets little use and in general I think it is an overlooked postwar diesel. Looking to spice it up by building a set for it to pull - which would you pick?
