Southern Ry employee executed & Streetcars won't operate

On February 6 ice was so thick on rails that Greensboro's Street Cars could not run their routes. Also, Southern Railway employee Frank Bohannnen was executed in Raleigh, hung, for killing his Foreman on the Southern Railway's Washington/Atlanta double-tracking project as it proceeded just west of Greensboro.

It all happened right here in Greensboro just 100 years ago!
