DCS Question
Posted by Fred Bear on Monday, January 29, 2007 9:21 PM
When setting up and adding trains to the DCS remote, I noticed it asked me if I wanted to add a DCS engine or a TMCC engine, is this saying that the Lionel stuff can be operated from this remote as well? Thanks, Jake

Yes. But you have to have the serial cable that runs between the TIU and the TMCC Command Base. The MTH handheld and TIU simply put the appropriate messages into the TMCC Command Base and the TMCC CB puts the appropriate TMCC signal to the track for TMCC equipped locos.

See Chapter 8 in the DCS Users manual.

Regards, Roy
