The RailKing bilevel auto carriers take 1:43 cars; Lionel's bilevel auto carriers use their cars but some 1:43 cars will fit.  The Lionel cars will be top heavy.  The Lionel bilevel and trilevel cars take 1:64 cars.

Auto for Carrier Cars
Posted by cheech on Sunday, January 28, 2007 10:01 AM

I have a number of vehicles [trucks mostly] around my intermodal site. I use 1:50 scale. I have gotten a couple of Car Carrier cars....Lionel and Railking...... what is the scale that goes onto these double/tripple stacks.  certainly not the 1:50...excuse my photo skills...here are a couple of the heavy haulers i have...need autos now.
