Wiring Lionel 6-12895 Operating Signal Bridge
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, January 27, 2007 7:56 PM

Hi! Newbie here...I was informed that this is where the O-gauge people hang! Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

My hubby and I are setting up our first O-scale layout.  We purchased a bunch of different signals from e-Bay and in it was this really cool signal bridge.  Problem is, there are no instructions on how to wire it.  I was hoping that someone out there could help us?

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the world of "O".

Have you looked on the Lionel website ? In their customer service section you may be able to download the owner's manual/intructions, a pdf file. I'd help if I could, but flunked "Electronics For Dummies". Sigh [sigh]

However you did come to the rite place, I'd be willing to bet that some will be along shortly who can help. Thumbs Up [tup]

I just finished wiring up my 12895 double-track signal bridge yesterday.  However, I used relays rather than the 153C contactor or SPDT manual switch.

Here's a link to a previous topic that covers wiring of signals that use red and green lights: http://www.trains.com/trccs/forums/1017139/ShowPost.aspx

As you will see, there are lot's of different ways to do it.

I just wanted to thank y'all for the help!  I saved the Lionel instructions on my computer and when we're ready, we'll be all set to wire it up!  Thumbs Up [tup]
