Does anyone have any opinions on the SF F3 2243 (single motor)?  Does it have as much pull as a 2023?

It should pull better, w/ the motor at the rear, and more bulk to it than the Alco.  I have the single motor 2245 and don't have any complaints.  It's a good puller w/ not as much of a power requirement as the twin motored F-3's.

I got my first one new in 1955.  It has the smoothest worm drive I have experienced on any locomotive:  You can spin the motor just by pulling the locomotive along the track.  The B units are prized for being the only ones that match the later 2383 AA set.
