sorry dont know that information right now.  will get them out and look.  my dad bought the train set out of a window display at a local drug store in 1948.  I could not go into the basement for weeks before christmas.  he was building the board that the trains set ran on for years.  to my knowledge he paid about $25.00 for the set.  I was really crushed when i saw that the train had been taken out of the window.

will reply to you soon

What are the numbers?  They're printed right on the sides of the locomotive and the cars.

I am new to this so may not be asking right questions.  Have a 1948 lionel steam loco w/ tinder, sinclare tank car,  baby ruth box car, flat car caboose.  all are in fair to good shape.  does any one know approximate value. also have some vintage track.
