Over at http://www.ogaugewatch.com/ there was an interview with Jerry Calabrese.  Jerry indicated that the new Legacy sytem would be released in the early part of '07.  But it would not be the first time a model train manufacturer was delayed in the shipping of a new product...

I think the original ship date was August '06, that would mean they are already delayed!

The following link is to the Lionel Shipping Schedule, according to this they expect them to ship in Feb '07.  Most On-line shops have been taking advanced orders.  I do not know if any of them still are.
