I was having difficulty also, and I found the photobucket to be very easy.  The point that still gets sticky is when I hit brouse to find the pictures I just transfered from the camera to the computer.  When I have trouble finding the file name, I'll right click on the picture, go to properties and it will have the file name.  Once one is found the photobucket will return to the same folder.

Once I got the hang of posting pics I really enjoy it.  Here's another

If it's your pics, I don't see why you can't do as we have been. After all, they do allow you to share your files, both via e-mail and using their free web pages.

My web page is www.spankybird.shutterfly.com and www.Ohiotts.shutterfly.com and the one for the museum is www.wrmrrm.shutterfly.com

If they didn't want you to share your files, they wouldn't provide these services, would they?

I would not post other peoples pics. And yes there are ways to find other members of shutterfly pics.

I am a person with a very active inner child. This is why my wife loves me so. Willoughby, Ohio - the home of the CP & E RR. OTTS Founder www.spankybird.shutterfly.com

Bob : I read that also just now at Shutterfly & the way I interpret it is that you can post pictures, like we have been doing, but cannot direct link from the forum to the Shutterfly site. I'm hoping Spankybird can come along later & shed some light on this !!

Thanks, John

I intrepreted that the same way you did.  I believe photobucket doesn't have this restriction but just haven't set up an account.

Bob : I don't think that applies to just regular photo posting. That I believe, is something different. Though, I may be wrong !!

Glad you want to post pictures !! I will try & help !! First is to sign up for your free hosting place at http://www.shutterfly.com/  This will be where you download your pictures into, from your camera & they will always be there! At least we believe they will be there !! It is a free service. After you've sighned up & got some pictures into Shutterfly, try this. Click on the picture in Shutterfly & it should get big. Then just right click on Copy & go back to the forum & in the dialog box that you use to post replies, hit Paste !! That is the fast & easy method, now please try that & let us know, because if that way doesn't work, there is another way using the IMG method, though it uses a few more steps.

Thanks & be watching for your pics. or help !!

Totaly Lost

To anyone who really has a LOT of patience: This "older" guy is totaly lost in 'computer land'. Please (And I know this has been posted many, many times but I have drawn a complete blank) tell me, in extremely simple terms, where to log-in to attempt to be able to post some pictures. I DID MENTION THAT I NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS A LOT OF PATIENCE, DIDN'T I?  Confused [%-)] Thank you.
