Another Beep question

Here is a "plug" for RMT and Walter M. Matuch, President.

After reading the numerous posts about the RMT Beeps, I decided to purchase the NYC Beep.  It arrived and really fit in well.  After a week or two, I noticed that the load being pulled occassionaly disconnected from the engine. I called RMT and spoke to Mr. Matuch. Without hesitation, he told me to just send it back to him and he would take a look at it. So, I did.

A week later, I called him. He explained that the rear coupler had a problem and he would "take care of it". He certainly did--by sending me a brand new Beep. New one runs great.

Now, that is 'Customer Service'

And that gives you and me a reason to buy another RMT product in the near future.  Great story.  Thanks for sharing.

I just purchased my first Beep this year and we used it on a continuous loop of track beneath the tree.  It ran for 4-6 hours continuously at a stretch with no problems.   I would guess that it has a total of 30 hours of run time.  Also, the RMT caboose is a good buy.

Same results here. I've had no problems over uncouplers and only the occasional stall over a turnout at real low speed. Not always, just every now and then. Hasn't stopped me from buying more!~)

Also, imho, that D&H Beep is beautiful and the collector in me is lusting after one.

The BEEPS will sometimes stall on the turnouts when running real slow.Usually they go through fine at a higher speed.I've had no problem going over the uncoupler.

Can anybody help me on this I don't want to buy the beep if it won't run on my layout.  Thanks

I'm thinking of buying a D&H Beep.  Before I do, on my small layout I have an uncoupling track then an o22 turnout then a regular straight then another 022 turnout then a 031 curve section. Can any of you experienced beep operators tell me if it will run ok on this sectionof my layout?  I've read and heard some of them have difficulty running thru some turnouts.  Thanks
