253E

I just bought a 253E set off Ebay. It didn't run, but it's rewired and now runs OK. It has the pendelum E Unit like the Standard Gauge sets might have. I was told this thing is pretty rare with that type of E Unit. I'm not very impressed with it, and I can see why Lionel strived for something else. Does anyone else have a 253E with this set up and does it work OK? Thanks to all, Jake
