according to the informatino I have at hand, the Silver Bluff was always 2534 and the Silver Cloud was always 2533. There are a variety of types and variations, revolving mainly around the nameplates.

Historical Questions

I am fortunate to have a Santa Fe Diesel AA unit #2353 and four cars #2531 Silver Dawn, #2532 Silver Range, #2533 Silver Cloud and #2534 Silver Bluff.

Recently, I saw an old ad for a Lionel set that featured a Santa Fe AA unit #2343 with four cars #2531 Silver Dawn, #2532 Silver Range, #2533 Silver Bluff and #2534 Silver Platter.

My questions: Does anyone have the set that appeared in the ad? Does anyone know when the Silver Bluff number was changed? And lastly, Has anyone seen any recent offerings for the Silver Platter?

As always, thank you.
