I joined the Williams club only because for a total of $30, I got the CNJ Box car I wanted.

The discount is just a bonus!!!  Seems like for the cost of a railcar it was worth it.

The Williams CLub is OK.  It is the only one I belong to.  You get a "free" freight car, or caboose with your membership and get the mailings.  It goes for about $25.  It is good for getting some cars and the occasional engine, but you can get better pricing at some of the dealers like Ma and Pa junction.  I am not sure about the other clubs.

Manufacturer Clubs - Thoughts?

Lionel, Atlas, Williams and Weaver all have 'clubs'.

I see with Williams you get 20% off on their products.  I know Lionel's LRRC does not offer discounts (but the on-line stores do).  How about Atlas and Weaver?  Do their clubs offer discounts?

Anyone a member of any of these 'clubs'?
